Electrical Software Engineer - Managed Services Automation - Illawarra

Our Client

An international juggernaut that has built an exceptional reputation for enabling manufacturing and process oriented businesses to increase output and reduce costs. They provide so ftware systems and services that provide functionality, reliability and visibility across the plant and operations of their clients. Due to securing a flagship 5 year managed Service contract, this exceptional employer is looking to secure the services of a proven Automation Engineer to work on multiple client sites in the Illawarra area.

The Role on Offer

Due to securing a significant managed service contract with one of their largest clients, this exceptionally placed SCADA ⁄ MES vendor is looking to secure the services of an Automation Engineer to work in multiple client sites in the Illawarra ⁄ Wollongong area. You will first work on a large SCADA upgrade and as each site has MES systems installed, you will be trained in this technology as well. You will work closely with onsite engineers, the vendor\'s project team and will be offered constant training to hone and develop your skills. This company is able to offer diverse career paths and as the MES install base increases in Australia your skills will become more and more valuable.

Remuneration for this role will include:

• Up to $95K - Base Salary + Super
• Bonus worth up to 10% salary
• Fully Maintained company vehicle
• Tools of trade (Mobile Phone and Laptop)
• Other benefits only offered to staff of this company will be discussed to relevant candidates

Selection Criteria

To be successful in your application of this role you must possess the following skills:

• Strong working knowledge of CitectSCADA ⁄ HMI and Automation software
• Strong mining industry exposure
• High attention to detail
• You are able to demonstrate your ability to build lasting relationships with customer contacts.
• You will have an engineering qualification.
